In my childhood, we (with my sibling) are allowed to watch movies only on Sundays. Or more precisely I say movies used to come only on Sunday. I use to glue my eyes on T.V. I don't know what happened or from exactly which time I switched off watching movies. After so many years I am back again with a good kind of interest and knowledge when it comes to movies. 

We are packed in our houses for almost 16 months, we are searching few things and hobbies to create to keep ourselves busy and, I must say movies will not disappoint you.

There is so much to learn from movies. They give a brief account of history, culture, art, cinematography, humor, and many more.

WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH MOVIES

When it comes to movies the people like me used to think a lot before turning to the screen. The questions like, what to get from watching movies? Isn't it a wastage of time?

Watching movies are important because they give a different view of the same thing maybe, they will change your perception. You grow more when you watch movies. If I talk about the movies of the present time, then you find small city-based characters. Isn't it about us? Aren't they showcasing ourselves?

Here is a list of a few of the movies that I have watched and will suggest you go through and, if you have already watched then do tell me your views.

THAPPAD

This movie is about a woman who spends all her time taking care of her husband and brushing his dreams. She has chosen her life by herself and, how a slap from her husband changes the whole scenario.

SHERNI

This is about a female forest officer in Madhya Pradesh. The story revolves around her work and the political scene and the lives of people and animals. How they are interlinked, and how we are damaging their habitat.

SUI DHAGA

The movie is about a small family who used to be weavers in past and, due to some problems they had left their weaving. And how they decide to recreate and show their willpower and end up creating the finest apparel.

BANDISH BANDIT

It's a web show full of music. I personally loved it. The first-ever web show whose intro was not escaped by me. The story is based on the Rajasthan and, showcases their music, culture, a collaboration of east and west.

BULBUL

Amazing storytelling and cinematography. The story is about a girl who gets married to the brother of her lover and I will not brief this one(hahaha). The story is based in Kolkata. 

DEVDAS

The movie starring Dilip Kumar and his mind-blowing acting. In the utmost pain of not getting his love he became a drunk man and destroyed himself, at the end he leaves his body at her place. 

MERI PYARI BINDU

Again a love story that starts from friendship and ends at friendship. 

NEWTON

A story about a man who goes on election duty in a Maoist hit area with baggage full of rules.

These may seem like very simple stories but all are very powerful. The work done by the actors is really very good.
