The knock of this year was not with the COVID,

but with the protests and riots. People marching on the roads with banners and shouting slogans and silently seating and protesting against CAA and NRC. 

It was the end of the month when we got the first case of COVID, but our focus remained on the Sahin bagh, students, men, women, and every individual related to CAA protest. 

Apart from all this, there was thermal screening was on at all the major airports of the country.

FEBRUARY

The month was ready to showcase Donald Trump the beauty of Gujarat by blocking all the unclear and not so beautiful faces and houses by a makeover. On the other hand, many forces are deployed in Delhi so that the news can't catch Mr. Trump's ear.

The month of color.

Just after holi our college has started and just after 3 days, the Bihar government announced the closure of all the school and coaching institutes till March 31.

It was 22 march when Bihar reported the first death due to COVID. Before that, the state had not even a single positive case. 

In between, on 24 march around 8 pm, our prime minister announced the lockdown 1.0.  

Today Bihar is standing with 4,915 confirmed cases and no more quarantine centers. The focus now shifted on the election, which is about to be held in November. 

Now back to the COVID situation in Bihar. All the activities now seem like there are fear-driven.

• People put masks only when they see the police. (in most cases).
• Vendors are only allowed till 6pm but they can continue beyond that in the absence of police.
• There is nothing like social distancing.

There are very few people who are seen with masks and holding meetings with proper distancing. 

RUMORS

5 June

Around 6.30 pm my grandmother came to me and said that there is a story I want to tell you.

I nodded

She narrated " There were two women going for a walk and suddenly they saw 2 cows and they started running, suddenly the cows turned into 2 beautiful women and they stopped the 2 ladies and said they are Corona maiya . If they want to get rid of corona they should put the puja materials in the unploughed land by digging the land with their hands".

I smiled and said this is not the truth. But she thinks I do not know anything. She still believes this story because it's on phone. 

With all those rumors, mismanagement and misunderstanding, we are ready to head towards the north as far as COVID-19 is concerned.
